Developed the business by expanding its reach to additional customer, suppliers, and collaborators in the distribution of tools for precision medicine. Developed systematic marketing strategies using CRM automation. Collaborated with content developer to produce technical marketing materials. LABCORP

Genomics Data Analyst (June 2019-May 2021)

Analyzed genomics data from NGS, Sanger Sequencing, qPCR, MLPA, and Microarray assays to facilitate high quality molecular genetics and molecular oncology testing. Provided accurate and reliable data analysis to clinical directors, with supporting documentation; draft patient reports as needed. Served as bridge between the Lab and Doctor's offices during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Newborn Screening Molecular - Medical Laboratory Technologist II (December 2017-June 2019)

Performed molecular DNA analysis using real time PCR to detect T-cell Receptor Excision Circles (TREC), conducted GALT DNA analysis to identify classical and clinical variant galactosemia, and use targeted next-generation sequencing assay to detect Cystic Fibrosis Disease-causing mutations using dried blood spot specimens. Perform pre-analytical, analytical, post-analytical and general responsibilities related to testing, result reporting and follow-up of abnormal results. Participated on a Molecular workshop at the CDC in Atlanta, GA.

Biochemical Genetics Technologist (September 2016-December 2017)

Performed a wide array of testing that fell into two different categories: material serum screening to identify pregnancies that are at a higher than usual risk of certain birth defects (including open spina bifida, Down syndrome, and Trisomy 18); and diagnostic testing for inborn errors of metabolism such as  Biotinidase and Tay Sachs. Performed Leukocyte pellet preparations for further testing, maintained lab inventory, prepared weekly schedules for the team and trained new technologists.

High School Spanish Teacher (August 2014-July 2015)

Used effective written and verbal communication skills to instruct High School students in learning the Spanish language and about Spanish culture. Utilized creative and resourceful instructional strategies to meet unique student needs. Bilingual Customer Service Specialist                    (August 2008-August 2014)

Responsible for assisting direct customers and bank representatives from within the Continental United States and Puerto Rico in check order placement. Developed and trained new employees in database entry, customer interaction, and network familiarization. Translated marketing materials for the organization from the original English language to Spanish in order to market to potential consumers who only spoke Spanish. Received numerous awards for customer satisfaction, accuracy in data entry, and timeliness.
